According to the U.S. National Center for Education Statistics, more than 76 million students have experienced some form of remote or online learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As SNA has also shifted to Remote Access Learning this semester, we understand that some students might take a longer time to adjust to this transition. Therefore, Ms. Aundrea Farley 鈥� Head of Student Support Services at SNA 鈥� would like to give her students some tips for effective online learning:
鉁匟ave a designated study area
鉁匓e present and active during lessons (make sure the camera is on)
鉁匒sk for help when needed
鉁匨aintain your routines during the school day
鉁匱ake movement breaks
鉁匓e prepared/flexible for the unexpected (Internet/Connectivity, lessons)
Online learning is a whole new realm for most teachers and students, so don鈥檛 be discouraged when things are slightly different from what you are used to! Push yourself and go beyond it!
